Description

Post and roundhouse mill, average size, 4 cloth sails, tailpole and wheel. Dating from around 1800. It was destroyed in a gale in the 1860's (5). A track, still marked on OS maps and still partly extant, led to it from the former Ship pub. The mill site was at NGR some 650m SSW of Pitstone Green Farm, but is has now been destroyed by quarrying (6)
