Description

BRITISH GAS PIPELINE SITE NA521. SCATTER OF WORKED FLINT IN TOPSOIL & SUBSOIL SURFACE, PROB SAME AS 02:000. AN AREA OF SUBSOIL SURFACE CONTAINED CHARCOAL & BURNT CLAY, BUT NO FEATURES AS SUCH. FLINT ASSEMBLAGE SUGGESTS SEASONAL FLOODPLAIN SETTLEMENT SPANNING LATE MESO TO BRONZE AGE (B1).
