Description
KILN 3 C.8M N OF KILNS 1 & 2. LESS ELONGATED FORM THAN THESE: CENTRAL PEDESTAL NEARLY CIRCULAR IN PLAN. NO EVIDENCE FOR RELINING & REMODELLING, THOUGH WALLS LESS WELL PRESERVED THAN OTHERS. FIRED CLAY OF THE KILN WAS ARCHAEOMAGNETICALLY DATED TO AD 1240 (B1-2).
