Description

Tomb & brass of Robert Ingleton (died 1472) & his family. Found in Thornton convent grotto c.1947. Had been removed from Thornton parish church c.1780, when the chancel was demolished. Restored to parish church 1947/48 (B6 - has description, references to restoration &c) & see CASS 02219.
