IN 1586 ELIZABETH BESTOWED...THE MARKET, 'PRETORIUM' AND THE CHAMBER OVER IT CALLED THE MOTEHALL IN THE MARKET ON JOHN FORTESCUE FOR 21 YEARS (B2).
MARKET HOUSE PULLED DOWN ABOUT 1840 (B3).
