IN 1829 BRIDGE, ON WENDOVER-BUCKINGHAM TURNPIKE, REPORTED TO BE IN A DANGEROUS STATE. IN 1836 PART COLLAPSED. REBUILT 1836 ON SAME SITE. A NEW BRIDGE HAS SINCE BEEN ERECTED 50YDS E OF THIS ONE (B1). 1836 BRIDGE REMAINS, AT NGR. ROAD DIVERSION HAS LEFT BRIDGE ON A LAY-BY. NO EVIDENCE OF EARLIER BRIDGE (B2).
