Description
DURING M25 CONSTRUCTION A NEW N-S CULVERT WAS DREDGED AT NGR TO DIVERT ALDERBOURNE. THIS EXPOSED A CHANNEL FILLED WITH PEAT & GRAVEL, WHERE THE RIVER NOW RUNS. SAMPLES TAKEN ON E & S FACES BY MARK ROBINSON (OXFORD) & MIKE FARLEY. (NO REPORT YET)(B2,B5).
