Description

THE LARGE QUANTITIES OF ANIMAL BONE FOUND ON THIS SITE SUGGEST THAT BEEF & MUTTON FORMED THE BULK OF THE MEAT DIET OF THE INHABITANTS, & MAY INDICATE THAT PIGS & POULTRY WERE KEPT ON THESE BACK PLOTS. (B1 P31-44 FOR ANALYSIS OF ANIMAL & FISH BONES; ALSO P54-55.)
