6 SHERDS OF EARLY SAXON GRASS-TEMPERED POTTERY FROM MIDDLE SAXON GRAVE FILLS. FROM SIMILAR CONTEXTS, 339 SHERDS OF A FINE-TEMPERED WARE WHICH IS INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM FINE-TEMPERED IRON AGE POTTERY. OTHER EARLY SAXON RESIDUAL FINDS WERE LOOMWEIGHT FRAGMENTS, A DAUB FRAGMENT & AN ANTLER TINE (B1). 345 sherds in total
