Description

During systematic fieldwalking various finds made. Field divided into 9 strips (see map filed). Field is centred c.400m NW of the Black Horse public house. No finds recovered from strip 8 (B1).
The flint finds from fieldwalking were distributed across the whole field but with a marked concentration on the east side in strips 1 and 2. The Roman finds from fieldwalking were distributed in the western and central parts of the field with a relative concentration in strips 4 and 6 (B1).
