Description

A DEER PARK AT RADCLIVE MANOR IS ALLUDED TO BY LIPSCOMB; HE WRITES THAT UPON THE DEATH IN 1693 OF THE THEN OWNER, CAPT JOHN WOODFINE, HIS WIFE 'THREW OPEN THE PARK & SOLD THE DEER' (B2).
WILLIS WRITES THAT A PARK WAS ENCLOSED HERE 1660-85, & ITS PALES & BOUNDS WERE STILL MAINTAINED (C.1755)(B1).
