LOCATION OF THE 'TOTESBRIG' (?), THE SUBJECT OF A DISPUTE IN LATE C14 BETWEEN ST JOHN'S HOSPITAL, OXFORD, & INHABITANTS OF LECKHAMSTEAD & FOSCOTT. JUDGEMENT GIVEN IN 1389 STATED THE MASTER OF THE HOSPITAL WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR HALF THE COST OF BRIDGE'S REPAIR (B1).
