Plan Form - CIRCULAR
ONLY FEATURE EXCAVATED IN PIPELINE TRENCH SECTION WAS A CIRCULAR PIT (P1). TRENCH HAD CUT THROUGH ABOUT ONE THIRD OF IT. FILL WAS A BLACK, FINE-GRAINED SOIL CONTAINING FLINTS. VARIOUS OTHER FEATURES, SMALL DEPRESSIONS ETC, IN ADJACENT TRENCHES (B5).
