ONE OF THE 'AYLESBURY GROUP' OF FONTS - SERIES OF LATE 12TH CENTURY FONTS WITH FLUTED, CHALICE-SHAPED BOWLS & BASES RESEMBLING UPTURNED SCALLOP CAPITALS. THIS EXAMPLE BY THE SAME CARVER AS THAT AT BLEDLOW (B6).
