PRESUMABLY THE PRESENT BUILDING STANDS ON SITE OF THE OLD MANOR HOUSE. PROBABLY A BUILDING OF NO GREAT ANTIQUITY, SINCE IT IS NOT DESCRIBED IN ANY OF THE USUAL SOURCES (B3).
