NEAR PERFECT CONDITION. BRICK DOME ON BRICK & FLINT BASE. ENTERED BY ARCHED PASSAGE C.3.5M LONG. MEASURES C.6M FROM APEX OF DOME TO FLOOR. PASSAGE ENTERS ICE HOUSE C.3M ABOVE FLOOR. BUILT INTO HILLSIDE, SO OBVIATING NEED FOR MOUND. ENTRANCE ON N SIDE (B2).
Grade II. Icehouse. Late C18. Brick. Below ground, with arched entry passage in hillside, loading hole at top, and domed interior (B3).
