Description

IN DIGGING DRAINS, N SIDE OF CHURCH, 2 GRAVES DISTURBED, LINED WITH TILES. MOST WERE C14 PENN TILE WASTERS. ALSO 2 BROKEN PIECES OF LINE-IMPRESSED MOSAIC, UNIQUE IN PENN. 1 WAS PART OF ROUNDEL, WITH PILGRIM & BORDER & 'M SEMPER A'. OTHER WAS PART OF HEXAGONAL TILE WITH LION'S FACE. BOTH WASTERS (MORE DETAIL) (B12).
