Description

BLOCKS OF FOREST MARBLE & OOLITE, FORMING SQUARE FOUNDATIONS WITH CORNER 'BUTTRESSES', FOUND IN CENTRE OF MOUND BY 1896 EXCAVATION. ASSOCIATED WERE CLAY PIPES, ETC, LEADING TO THE CONCLUSION THAT FOUNDATIONS WERE PART OF A WINDMILL (B1).
