Description

IT IS PROBABLE THAT IVER MANOR HOUSE STOOD ON THE SITE OF DELAFORD PARK (HOUSE), FORMERLY HILL HOUSE. THIS HOUSE & LANDS WERE NEVER PART OF DELAFORD ESTATE UNTIL LATE C18, WHEN CHARLES CLOWES ENLARGED HILL HOUSE & TRANSFERED THE NAME OF DELAFORD (WHICH HE ALSO OWNED). HOUSE BURNT 1845 & REBUILT (B2-4).
