Description
Church moved site from Low Farm (CASS 00143) in 1610. Original build by Sir Marmaduke Dayrell, but some fittings may be older. Chancel & S aisle 1877-1884 by G E Street (B1-7).
Grade II+. Parish Church. 1610 and modern. Red brick, quoins and dressings plaster. Chancel and south aisle 1877-84, by G E Street. Inside a large monument to Sir Marmaduke Dayrell, 1631. A rare example of an early Cl7 church. RCHM 1, p.159; VCH III, p.277 (B6).
