Description

THE TOWN OF AYLESBURY BECAME CENTRED AROUND THE PRESENT MARKET SQUARE DURING THE MEDIEVAL PERIOD. THE SQUARE ALSO BECAME THE CENTRE OF COUNTY BUSINESS (B5).
THE ORIGINAL MARKET PLACE HAS AT VARIOUS TIMES BEEN ENCROACHED UPON (B3).
