REMAINS OF ?WOODEN CASKET WITH FITTINGS: BROAD IRON STRAPPINGS WITH HANGING BRONZE RINGS, SMALL MOULDED BRONZE LIONS HEAD BOSSES, & 2 DROP HANDLES WITH ACORN ENDS. ALSO BRONZE HASP & LOCK, & ENAMELLED STUD [ILLUS]. CALCINED BONE FOUND. SIGNS THAT BOX HAD BEEN WRAPPED IN CANVAS (B1-3).
