Description
Description & plan (B7).
Grade I. Rustic bridge 1761. Three arches, four urns on parapet and probably brought from the former Temple of Sleep [CAS 0420802068], (demolished) (B14).
The National Trust Survey of Stowe undertaken in 1989 noted that bridge was built in 1761 to carry the drive to the new positioned gates. It also noted that the SE urn was missing (B18).
