Description

A STATION OF THE OXFORD & AYLESBURY TRAMROAD CO STOOD HERE; THE LINE WAS EXTENDED TO BRILL 1872. TRAMWAY CLOSED 1935. THE ONLY REMAINS OF THE TRAMWAY IN BRILL ARE COTTAGES MARKED B&C (BUCKINGHAM & CHANDOS, THE TRAMWAY OWNER). THE ACTUAL STATION SITE IS A FIELD BEHIND THESE COTTAGES (B1) (SEE ALSO CASS 4160).
