Description

Grade II. Canal lock. Circa 1800, with later repairs, Brick retaining walls dated 1914, stone coping. 2 pairs of gates with sluices and winding gear, one with quoin dated 1870. N. end has brick steps. One cast iron bollard. Pair of side ponds in working order with winding gear dated 1865 (B7).
