Description

Grade II. Canal lock. Circa 1800, altered. Brick retaining walls, stone coping. Pairs of gates with sluices and winding gear, and quoins dated 1862 and 1885. Brick steps at N.E. end. 4 cast iron bollards. Pair of side ponds with sluices and winding gear dated 1886. (B7).
