Plan Form - SUBCIRCULAR
DOUBLE RING VISIBLE FROM AIR, PROBABLY UNIVALLATE OR BIVALLATE HILLFORT. RUNS INTO CULTIVATION TERRACES (CAS 1272) ON S SIDE OF HILL (B1).
PLOTTED AT 1:2500 (B2).
PROXIMITY TO IVINGHOE INTERESTING; CHEDDINGTON LARGER. WAS ONE A REPLACEMENT OF OTHER? PLOUGHING HAS DESTROYED INTERNAL FEATURES (B3).
SCHEDULED: SAM 29410 (B4).
Included in English Heritage's Heritage at Risk Register 2009 and 2011. Condition desribed as 'Extensive significant problems ie under plough, collapse' with principal vulnerability from arable ploughing and trend as declining (B8-9).
