Description

MEDIEVAL POTTERY FROM LATE C12-C14 ABUNDANT ON SITE, MOSTLY COARSE WARE JARS & COOKING POTS. FEW WERE GLAZED. SOME BRILL JARS & BOWLS BUT NO JUGS. LACK OF SHERDS FROM C15 INDICATES DESERTION OF HAMLET BY THEN. (POTTERY CATALOGUE & ILLUS)(B3-4,B9).
