TO E OF MOAT ARE 2 IMPRESSIVE BANKS C.1M HIGH WHICH WERE PROBABLY FISHPOND DRAINS. ONE RUNS ESE FROM MOAT, BUT STOPS INEXPLICABLY AFTER 55M. THE OTHER COURSES TO REACH A STREAM. FISHPONDS STILL WELL DEFINED IN PASTURE FIELD, WHICH IS BOGGY IN PLACES (1972) . PONDS PERHAPS POST-MED, ORNAMENTAL & MORE EXTENSIVE (B6).
