SMALL STUD. SHEET GARNETS MOUNTED IN ALL PANELS OVER STANDARD GOLD FOIL. STUDS ARE USUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH SWORDS, ?EITHER DECORATING SWORD KNOT OR PERHAPS MOUNTED ON A NARROW STRAP ON SCABBARD BOSSES. THEY INDICATE HIGH STATUS & MAY SUGGEST BURIAL SITE. FOUND IN TOPSOIL MOVING (DRAWING) (B1-2).
