Description

FINDS LOCATED DURING THE DIGGING OF FOUNDATIONS OF THE NEW BAPTIST HALL, ST MARY'S SQUARE. THESE WERE IRON AGE & MEDIEVAL POTTERY & A SKELETON. MR A BATES, ARCHITECT ON SITE, STATES THAT THE GROUND HERE WAS DISTURBED TO A DEPTH OF 6-8FT, 'IN LAYERS' (B1-2).
