'ICEHOUSE' AT NGR(B1).REMAINS SURVIVE IN PASTURE FIELD JUST OUTSIDE BOUNDARY OF HALL, N OF STABLE BLOCK. BASE IS A CIRCULAR BRICKLINED DEPRESSION 4M. DIAMETER. ENTRANCE TUNNEL C.2.5M LONG ON W.SIDE. NO INDICATION OF ORIGINAL HEIGHT OR DEPTH NOR OF A MOUND. ACTUAL BASE MAY BE FAR BELOW MODERN LEVEL (B2)
