Description

SKELETONS FOUND IN TRENCH BELOW PAVEMENT IN PARSON'S FEE OUTSIDE ALMSHOUSES, JUST AROUND CORNER FROM CHURCH STREET, IN 1960S (B3). LONG-TERM RESIDENT OF PARSON'S FEE REMEMBERS HUMAN BONES BEING FOUND IN 1960/61 OUTSIDE DOOR OF NO 5 OR 6 PARSON'S FEE, IN A SERVICE TRENCH (B4). FROM A CEMETERY ASSOCIATED WITH THE HOSPITAL BELIEVED TO HAVE STOOD HERE? OR FROM THE CEMETERY OF THE PRESUMED MINSTER? (SEE CASS 2575:01:001).
NGR to 5 and 6 Parson's Fee.
