THE AREA OF HAYDON HILL/HAYDON HILL RAILWAY CUTTING ABOUNDS IN FINDS OF ROMAN MATERIAL BUT THERE IS NO AP OR OTHER EVIDENCE TO INDICATE A SPECIFIC HABITATION SITE. FINDS DONATED TO BCM IN 1897 INCLUDED POTTERY, SPINDLE WHORLS ETC; IN ?1913 2 BOXES OF POTTERY & HORSESHOES. C3 COIN FOUND,1954.
