Description

WERE EVENTUALLY 6 KILNS AT LIMEWORKS (B4).
THE 4 KILNS AT THE WORKS PRODUCED C30 TONS OF LIME PER WEEK. FUEL CONSUMPTION WAS VERY HIGH (B1).
IN 1977, A BOTTLE-SHAPED KILN (SKETCH, CAS FILE) HALF COLLAPSED & VISIBLE IN SECTION (B3).
PHOTO OF SURVIVING KILN IN 1972 (B6).
