Description

SKELETONS EXPOSED IN 1972 IN FOOTINGS TRENCH BEING DUG FOR A NEW BUILDING FRONTING CAMBRIDGE STREET. THE FOOTINGS TRENCH IS FOR THE NE WALL OF THIS BUILDING. THE 1878 OS 1:500 MAP SHOWS THESE BURIALS TO LIE IN FRONT OF THE BAPTIST CHAPEL, PROBABLY FRONTING THE MAIN ENTRANCE PATH. (SECTION DRAWING, PHOTOS, MAP ETC, FILED) (B3).
