Description

Grade II. Former mill house, now offices. Mid C19, refurbished 1970s. Front is of brown stock brick with gauged white brick window heads, ashlar plinth and ashlar band courses at sill level of upper windows; remainder is of red brick. Wooden eaves, hipped slate roof, brick chimneys. Double pile. 3 storeys, 5 bays. Sash windows, 3-pane to centre, remainder 4-pane. Ground floor has 2 large canted bay windows with barred wooden casements and hipped slate roofs. Central double doors with radiating segmental fanlight; Doric porch with ashlar columns and entablature. Sides have sash windows with segmental heads, the right side completely C20. C20 matching red brick extension to rear. Mill formerly attached to right, demolished 1970s (B9).
