Description

Watermill at approx NGR, shown on maps in 1788 & 1825 (B1).
'Bourton Mill' approx NGR, shown on OS surveyor's draft map 1814 (B2).
At NGR, OS maps have 'Bourton Mill (Corn)', then from 1923 'Bourton Mill (Disused' (B3).
Ceased working 1920? (B4).
In 1983, 3 storey C19 mill building survived, machinery gone; used as farm store (B6).
Detailed historical notes, 1930s condition and photograph. Standing empty in 2006 (B8).
