Description

Dimensions - Length 20m, Width 7m.
Plan Form - Rectangular.
Grade II. Water mill, now disused. C17, altered and enlarged C18. Coursed rubble stone, tiled roof. Two storeys and attic. Five bays including wheel arch of cambered brick to N., now blocked. Irregular barred casements with timber lintels. W.front has entries to two main storeys in second bay from right. Two gabled dormers to rear. C18 stable extension of one storey to S. has slate roof and flat stone arch to entry. Late C18-C19 mill machinery, except for wheel, is intact, with bins, shoots, mill-stones and walkway to loft (B12, & see B10 ).
