REMAINS OF LARGE QUARRIES WEST OF FARM - THE LARGEST IS BEING INFILLED WITH RUBBISH (B11).
LOCALISED DEPOSITS OF DIFFERENT CLAYS & SANDS WERE USED IN DIFFERING MIXES TO PRODUCE GENERAL BUILDING BRICKS & SPECIALISED FIREBRICKS, RUBBING BRICKS ETC.(DESC OF DEPOSITS)(B5-8).
