POST MEDIEVAL VILLAGE FOUND ON EARLY MAPS. ROQUES MAP (C.1760) AND JEFFERYS' MAP (1788) SHOW HOUSES AT 'TATLERS END'. BRYANT'S MAP (1825) SHOW HOUSES AT 'TATLING END'. NO HOUSES APPEAR ON OS 6 INCH MAPS AND THE PLACE NAMES HAVE DISAPPEARED. (BIBL 1,2,3, 4,)
