Plan Form - CRUCIFORM
PROBABLY LATE C16, FORMER TITHE-BARN? BRICK WALLS, PIERCED WITH 2 ROWS OF LOOP LIGHTS. ROOF TILED. MAIN BLOCK RECTANGULAR, 5 BAYS, EACH 12FT LONG. IN MIDDLE OF EACH SIDE IS A PROJECTING BAY (B3).
Grade II. Barn. Late C16 with outshot additions. Brick, old tiled roof. Continuous outshot of various materials under same roof to W., S. and part of east walls. Central cart entrance with segmental arch and steep gable above. Double row of ventilating slits to interior. Five bays. Outer trusses have braced tie beams, raking struts and braced collars. Inner trusses have arched braces to collar beam with another collar above. RCHM II p 54 MON. 2(part)(B10).
