BEST EXAMPLE OF TERRACE CULTIVATION IS IN LONG, NARROW FIELD KNOWN AS 'THE LINCES'. 6 TERRACES OR RIDGES ON THE HILLSIDE 3 OF WHICH RUN THE WHOLE LENGTH (B1).
WHOLE OF E SLOPE FORMED OF 4 (AT MOST) STEPS (B2,B4).
MEDIEVAL OR EARLIER CULTIVATION TERRACES VISIBLE; STEPS OF C.2M & FROM 8-10M WIDTH (B3).
