HEDGERLEY DEAN ORIGINALLY A HAMLET OF FARNHAM ROYAL. HEDGERLEY VILLAGE WAS ALWAYS HALF IN HEDGERLEY & HALF IN HEDGERLEY DEAN. IN 1901 HEDGERLEY DEAN BECAME CIVIL PARISH. WHEN GERRARDS CROSS FORMED, N PART HEDGERLEY DEAN (WAPSEYS WOOD) TAKEN. SMALL PART. S HEDGERLEY DEAN WENT TO FARNHAM ROYAL & REST JOINED HEDGERLEY, 1934 (B2).
