Description

2 OPENWORK STRAP UNIONS WITH ENAMEL INLAY, BOTH WITH PAIR OF LOOPS ON REVERSE. FOUND APPARENTLY WITHIN 15CM OF EACH OTHER IN WOODLAND ON W SIDE OF HAMBLEDEN VALLEY BY D ROBINSON (EXACT LOCATION WITHELD BY FINDER). SOLD BY SOTHEBY'S IN 1983. RARE & IMPORTANT FIND. (ARCHIVE, PHOTOS & CUTTINGS)(B3).
