A FINELY WORKED LEVALLOISIAN BLADE IN TREACHER COLLECTION MARKED 'WOOD'S TAPLOW NURSERY BRICK EARTH', PRESUMABLY THE NURSERY CLOSE TO RAILWAY. LEVALLOISIAN BLADE WITH SECONDARY WORKING. SHARP. WORN PATINA ON 1 FACE, DENDRITIC ON OTHER (B1).
NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE LEVALLOIS FLAKE AT WOOD'S NURSERY (B2).
Site mentioned in English Rivers Palaeolithic Survey (B3-4).
(SU 9182) A Levallois flake from Woods Nursery, Taplow, is in Oxford University Museum (B4).
The implement is marked 'Wood's Taplow Nursery brickearth'. This is presumably the nursery close to the railway at SU 918813 (B1).
No knowledge of the Levallois flake at Wood's Nursery centred at SU 918812 (B5).
