'SPECTACLE' OBJECT. BEARS STRONG RESEMBLANCE TO 'SPECTACLE FIBULAE' OF C5 BC SOUTHERN EUROPE. BUT DR ALEXANDER (CAMBRIDGE UNIV) DISAGREES (SEE HIS LETTER, FILED). ALSO RESEMBLES ANGLO-SAXON WRIST/CUFF CLASPS, BUT SHOULD NOT HAVE A PIN! COULD BE MODERN! (REFS. TO POSSIBLE PARALLELS, FILED)(B1).
