FLINT AXE WITH FLAKING OF MESOLITHIC CHARACTER. PICKED UP MANY YEARS AGO & NO INFORMATION OTHER THAN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD IN WHICH IT WAS FOUND, IS AVAILABLE. (ILLUS)(B1).
ACCESSIONED BY BCM (B2).
A flint axe with flaking of Mesolithic character owned by Head was found at High Wycombe (SU 8693) "many years ago". No other information. (B3)
According to Mr Head, the flint axe was donated to Bucks County Museum, where it cannot be located. (B4)
