Description

Plan Form - SQUARE
Grade II. Kiln for firing bricks and tiles. Circa 1830 with later re-casing and parapet. Brick. Square building of downdraught type with shallow dome and central round chimney of header brick. Entrance on N.W. side. In use until c,1939 when local clay worked out. (Illustrated in Bucks and Berks Countryside, Vol. 20, No.149) (B7).
