FROM DITCH EDGE, DITCH RUNS NE/SW TOWARDS RAILWAY. OVERALL LENGTH OF SPREAD C.22M. FIELDWALKING BY MISS S FOTHERGILL MAY 1976-JAN 1977. POTTERY FOUND INCLUDES 4 ?BELGIC SHERDS; 10 RB RIMS; 20 RB SHERDS; 1 RB BASE; 2 MEDIEVAL RIMS & 16 MEDIEVAL SHERDS (B1-3).


"SP 70001326. From ditch around field; six RB rims, one RB base, two ? Belgic sherds and over seventy sherds probably both Medieval and RB".
